Firefighters deal with second blaze at funeral home
Fire crews are still dealing with hot spots at a south Edmonton funeral home — the second fire the building has seen in as many days.
Firefighters were called the funeral home on 98th Street and 34th Avenue just after midnight Saturday. It took several hours to get the fire under control. The area around the funeral home is still closed off as fire crews finish up.
Crews had been called out to a chimney fire in the building yesterday.
The fires caused extensive damage inside the building. The causes of the fires are still under investigation.
