Jeremy London Is Latest to Join Mallrats 2—Which Other Former Cast Members Are Returning?

Jeremy London

This calls for a round of chocolate-covered pretzels…that should in no way be touched by Brodie.

The upcoming sequel to director and writer Kevin Smith‘s 1995 cult comedy film Mallrats is shaping up to be even better than expected, as most of the original cast members have been confirmed to return. The latest is Jeremy London, 42. He played nice guy T.S., who in the first movie, attempts to win back his ex-girlfriend, Brandi, who is participating in a dating show that is being filmed at a mall.

Smith, who also plays Silent Bob, the “hetero life mate” if BFF Jason Mewes‘ Jay, announced the news on Friday on his Facebook page. Smith has been providing frequent casting updates about Mallrats 2, a project he announced on March 13.

“Wherever Jaws pops out of the water, T.S. Quint will be there!” he wrote. “JEREMY LONDON is going back to the MALL, ya’ll! 8 down, 4 to go! Collect ’em all!‪ #‎MR2‬.”

Jason Lee, 44, who plays T.S.’ BFF Brodie.

Brodie is quite the cynic…and the prankster.

The 43-year-old actress is also confirmed to return for Mallrats 2.

And so is Ethan Suplee! The 38-year-old actor also starred with Lee in My Name Is Earl.

The actor played William, a friend of T.S. and Brodie who faces a frustrating challenge—identifying a sailboat in an optical illusion Magic Eye poster. Even kids can do it.

So he gets a little testy.
