Another Monday, another fallen star in the ballroom.
It was Latin night on Dancing with the Stars, and while many stars made some vast improvements this week, one didn’t quite make the cut.
Model and actress Charlotte McKinney was unfortunately eliminated after tying with Patti LaBelle for the lowest score of the night, and after earning a 26/40 last week. Her rumba with partner Keo Motsepe only garnered a 22 out of 40 from the judges, along with some unfortunate comments, like this one from Bruno Tonioli:
“You’re never going to win the Nobel prize for quantum physics, but you are easy on the eyes, and you’re producing some wonderful shapes.”
He went on to (sort of) clarify that his criticism actually had to do with Charlotte losing concentration during her performance, but the general consensus was that Charlotte had a lot of potential that she just hadn’t quite lived up to yet.
Bachelor Chris Soules (who we can’t help but root for) found himself next to Charlotte in the bottom two tonight after some less-than-stellar scores last week (21/40), but he and partner Witney Carson improved to a respectable 27 with this week’s Argentine Tango.

Meanwhile, the top of the pack stayed pretty much the same this week, with Nastia Liukin and Riker Lynch tied for first place with 34 out of 40. Rumer Willis (decked out in a crazy, Britney-Spears-in-Toxic disco pantsuit) is just behind them with 33, and Willow Shields coming in at 32 with a truly awesome paso doble.
Rumer may have landed in second place, but her salsa with Val Chmerkovskiy was declared by Len to be the “best dance I’ve seen this season.”
